Developing English Speaking Skill through Drama Techniques

Abstract
This research aimed to enhance developing English speaking skill through English Drama
Techniques. The sample of this study included 31- Mathayom six students participated in an English
Speaking classroom in the first semester of academic year 2019 of Phanphittayakhom School. The
samples were recruited by purposive sampling. The instruments used in this study were pretest,
posttest, and questionnaire. The findings of this study found that the students improved their
speaking skill and gained more confidence in speaking skills after engaged in the English speaking
activities through the use of drama techniques.
