THE PROCESS OF WORK DEVELOPMENT OF BUDDHISM ADVOCATES OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN MUANG DISTRICT, LAMPHUN PROVINCE

Abstract

The research were to study the formation and work development of Buddhism advocates of public education, to find the guidelines in developing work of Buddhism advocates of public education, and to propose the model of work development process of Buddhism advocates of public education in Muang District, Lamphun Province. This research was conducted by using the qualitative research methodology and the data collected by using in-depth interview. The researcher interviewed 16 people.

The findings of this research were found as follows:

The public education had provided the activities covering eight aspects, namely Morality and Culture, Health, Right Livelihood, Peace, Education, Public Welfare, Gratitude, Fellowship. The guideline of work development of Buddhism advocates of public education was found that training unit have to change the approach strategy to create a network of Buddhism advocates for reaching all groups, genders, age of people. The process model of work development of Buddhism advocates of public education was found that it has to develop knowledge and ability of personnel in sub-district training unit of people need to expand the existing network to the new network, including the group of children and youth, using devices media, personal media, media and communication technology media for reaching all genders and ages.
