The Buddhist Participation for Cultural Development of People at Maepungluang Village, Wangchin District , Phrae Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study Buddhist participation for cultural development of people at Maepungluang village, Wangchin District , Phrae Province.,2) to compare Buddhist participation for cultural development of people at Maepungluang village, Wangchin District , Phrae Province, classified  by personal factors, 3) to study the problems and suggestion Buddhist participation for cultural development of people at Maepungluang village, Wangchin District , Phrae Province and 4) to study the process to apply  Aparihaniyadhamma for Buddhist participation for cultural development of people at Maepungluang village, Wangchin District , Phrae Province.
This research was the Mixed Methods Research. The Population and sample used in this study are people in Maepungluang M.15, Maepungluang sub-district, Wangchin District, Phrae Provinceamount 500 people, The samples were from the Proportional Multi-Stage Random Sampling. The procedure was finding the sample by using the formula of a sample size of Taro Yamane, a sampling of 222 people. The collection of data by questionnaire and analyzed the  data by using the  Statistical Package for Social Science Research, to find the Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation. Test the hypothesis by t-test and F-test by using one-way
analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA). When found the difference, tested the difference in pairs, by the procedure of the Least Significant Difference. In the part of an open-ended questions that show the problems, obstacles suggestions. The researcher grouped the issues that define in open-ended questionnaires, then to analyze Frequency and information from interviews, and data from interviews, the researcher gathered the data on the essence and analyzed by using the Content Analysis Technique.
The result of this research was found that ;
1.The level of Buddhist participation for cultural development  of people Maepungluang village, Wangchin District, Phrae Province. Average in the high level ( X = 3.75,S.D. = 0.507) when consider each side found that operation was high ( X = 4.02,S.D. = 0.538) than making decision (X = 3.75, S.D. = 0.537), benefitreceiving ( X =3.69, S.D. = 0.391) and last one evaluation (X = 3.58,S.D. = 0.563)

2.The result of comparison of Buddhist participation for cultural development of people at Maepungluang village, Wangchin District, Phrae Province, classified to personal factors including sex, age, education background, occupation, and income finding that significantly different of 0.05 accepted the hypothesis was set. 
3. Problems, obstacles and suggestions of Buddhist participation for cultural development  of people at Maepungluang village, Wangchin District, Phrae Province found that people didn’t consult for evaluation home development till knowledge about  any activity evaluation, and some group tried to take own interest more than social interest, thought suggestion that people should come to meet and talk, understand, find knowledge for any activity, own and social interest  together, give service mind to people find the important social interest than own interest for development cultural process and motivate participation in any activity.
4. The result of interview, who had given main data to process of Aparihaniyadhamma for  application Buddhist participation for cultural development of people at Maepungluang  village, Wangchin District, Phrae Province, before management project or activity, they should have a meeting at their village for understand together, participation to work together, and  empower unity, in order
that  they should  follow the rule and principle of village, respect and trust people who practiced to the rule had given, follow principle, culture, the way of life, original trust was legislated, had security for women, respect someone who should respect,
protect religion, culture, support good cultural process of Maepunglung village and stability,  prosperity and development for people in Maepunglung village.
