Abstract

The research of Community network's participation in forest management for sustainable life
quality building in Nan province has the objectives. 1 . To analyze the problem of forest management
with participation from the community network in Nan province. 2. To study the model of forest
management with participation from the sustainable community network, Nan Province. 3 . To propose
guidelines for forest management with participation from the community network towards building a
sustainable quality of life in Nan Province. Research methods are Mixed Method Research. Documentary
Research. Qualitative Research. By means of interviews and small group meetings from key informants.
34 persons, consisting of a policy group of 3 people, a network of people who love the Nan forest, 4
persons, a group of farmer community leaders, a local government organization, 9 people per
community, 3 communities And action research by visiting the Buddhist agricultural practice area Give
plant species to the sample community that can be self-reliant Towards creating a sustainable quality of
life.
The research results were found that. Community network participatory forest
management towards building a sustainable quality of life in Nan Province can be summarized as
follows 1. State of forest management problems in Nan province (1) problems of forest management
from the government sector (2) problems arising from people in the community. 2.A model for forest
management with community participation. There are (1 ) participatory forest area allocation
management (2) participatory local wisdom management. 3 . Guidelines for participatory forest
management of the community network towards building a sustainable quality of life in Nan Province
(1) promotion of community occupation according to the sufficiency economy philosophy (2) promotion
of agricultural occupation in the Buddhist way. Apply the principle of life in accordance with
Buddhism The target community is self-sufficient. Having honest occupation, income, healthy
community market, quality of life of people in the community, sustainable.
