Anti-corruption Discourse with the Honesty Indoctrination in society

Abstract

A serious problem in Thai society and affected national development is “Corruption”. 
Thai society familiar with patronage system since the past that leads to corruption problem in all 
sections of society. Nowadays. the government of General Prayut Chan-o-cha focus on the 
corruption issues and pushing onto the national agenda as an urgent problem that should be 
resolved immediately. The government create the awareness among people in society about the 
dangers of corruption by Anti-corruption discourse to represent anti-cheating or anti-corruption in both of government organization and government agencies processes. This article aim to present 
the problem of corruption in Thai society and the government's crackdown policy on corruption 
by discourse practice as well as present the solutions by instilling the attitudes and moral values 
by apply “Honesty” or the three principles of good faith in Buddhist principle to people in 
society. that is the good deed foundation which consist of good faith. good morals and honest 
thoughts including the using of socialization process in order to prevent and solve the problem of 
corruption in Thai society.
