PROMOTION OF PARTICIPANT POLITICAL CULTURE OF THE PEOPLE IN ELECTION OF THE PHRAE PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION COUNCIL MEMBER IN MAE KAMMEE SUB-DISTRICT, MUEANG PHRAE DISTRICT, PHRAE PROVINCE

Abstract

This Article aimed to study (1 ) to study the level of promotion of the
participatory political culture of the people in the election of members of the Phrae
Provincial Administrative Organization Council in Mae Khammi Sub-district, Muang Phrae
District, Phrae Province (2 ) to study the relationship between the principle of
Aparihāniyadhamma 7 and the promotion of the participatory political culture of the
people in the election of members of the Phrae Provincial Administrative Organization
Council in Mae Khammi Sub-district, Muang Phrae District, Phrae Province. 3) to study
the problems of obstacles and suggestions on the promotion of political culture of the
people in the election of members of the Phrae Provincial Administrative Organization
Council in Mae Khammi Sub-district, Muang Phrae District, Phrae Province. This research
is a Mixed methods research, including quantitative research using exploratory research
methods, and qualitative research using in-depth interview methods. The research
results were found as follows;
1) Promotion of the participatory political culture of the people in the election
of council of Phrae Provincial Administrative Organization in Mae Khammi Sub-district,
Muang Phrae District, Phrae Province, with the overall being very high (x̅ = 3.70). 2) The
principle of Aparihāniyadhamma 7 is related to the promotion of the participatory
political culture of the people in the election of members of the Phrae Provincial
Administrative Organization Council in Mae Khammi Sub-district, Muang Phrae District,
Phrae Province, and overall has a moderate positive correlation (r = .4 8 8** ) . 3 ) The
problem of obstacles was found that citizens still lack understanding of the role of the
members of the Phrae Provincial Administrative Organization Council and have not
participated in the Election Unit Standing Committee. Suggestions, in particular, they
held exchange seminars to learn about the duties of members of the Phrae
Administrative Council, appointed a community standing committee to investigate and
monitor the election.
