Strengthening People’s Political Trust towards Thai Local Politicians

Abstract

Many people say that politics is about the power and interests of the 
representatives. In fact, the politics is reliance, trust and sincerity in doing public 
works for the people by inventing various innovations to return to create a 
prosperous society and have a good quality of life after being trusted. Of course, this 
short definition would be too narrow, but it is important hearts that people aim to 
seriously. Especially, local politicians who enter the activities of organization 
management that will be able to improve the quality of life of the people in that 
area in order to be progressively more and more which shows the state of the ability 
in the public administration truly and do not seek benefits with government 
organizations  that are empowered by the people, Thus, the reflections of local 
politicians will be able to make trust to the people or not that may have to look at 
the work and how much consistent is the action? The author therefore presents ways 
to strengthen the political trust of the people towards Thai local politicians, including 
1) strictly stopping illegal election offenses, especially buying votes from the people, 
2) the consistent conduct from the past until present, 3) a true reflection of honesty, 
4) the ability to understand, access, develop people continuously and all the time, 
and 5) the developing local organizations to be dependent on the people in all 
dimensions.
