The Concept and the Development of Listening Skill According to Buddhism

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the concept and the development of listening skill that can take the principles of Buddhism in order to apply the development of listening skill was found that the development of listening skill has to train about concentration and considering intention to listen, to make understanding with hearing the information, to focus on the important point of hearing information, to make a note of main point with hearing, hearing analysis, to evaluate the hearing information and to apply the benefit. It can be seen that the listening skills have many benefits in every aspects, and everyone that the proverb says without the capacity of listening deeply, we cannot understand, and without understanding, love is not real, love is not possible (Sussüsam Labhate Paññãm) this is the principle of Buddhism and there are the result of merits as follows: 1. Listeners will hear what has not been listening, 2. The listeners understand clearly what the hearing, 3. Listeners will not doubt it. 4. Listeners change from the wrong to the right, and 5. Mind of the listener will shine.
