Desirable Characteristics of Nakhorn Phanom Buddhist College Students Based on Criteria of Thailand Qualification Framework for Higher Education, Academic Year 2013

Abstract

The research aimed to study and compare desirable characteristics of Nakhornphanom Buddhist College students based on criteria of Thailand Qualification Framework for Higher Education, Academic Year 2013 in 5 aspects namely aspect of Ethics and Moral behavior, aspect of knowledge, aspect of Cognitive skill, aspect of relationship between Interpersonal skills and responsibility, and aspect of Numerical analysis skills, communication and information technology skills. The sample group used in this research were 1 4 year students studying in academic year 2016, altogether 236. The tool used in this research was questionnaire. The statistics used in this research were percentage, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Scheffé. st-th

The results revealed as follows:

1. Desirable characteristics of Nakhon phanom Buddhist College students based on criteria of Thailand Qualification Framework for Higher Education, Academic Year 2013 in 5 aspects (TQF.) found that all aspects had high level of opinion (x=3.85). While considering each aspect, aspect of relationship between individual and responsibility had highest value (x=3.99) followed by aspect of moral and ethical behavior (x=3.92), aspect of knowledge (x=3.82), aspect of intellectual skill (x=3.82), and aspect of numerical analysis, communication, and information technology (x=3.74) respectively.

2. Comparing the opinion of students about desirable characteristics of Nakhornphanom Buddhist College students based on criteria of Thailand Qualification Framework for Higher Education (TQF.) found that 1. Nakhornphanom Buddhist College students with different status had no different opinion toward the desirable characteristics based on criteria of Thailand Qualification Framework for Higher Education, in overall and each aspect which is statistical significant at level of 0.5. 2. Nakhornphanom Buddhist College students with different age had no different opinion toward the desirable characteristics based on criteria of Thailand Qualification Framework for Higher Education, in overall and each aspect which is statistical significant at level of 0.5 3. Nakhornphanom Buddhist College students with different studying year had no different opinion toward the desirable characteristics based on criteria of Thailand Qualification Framework for Higher Education, in overall and each aspect which is statistical significant at level of 0.5 4. Nakhornphanom Buddhist College students with different kind of student had no different opinion toward the desirable characteristics based on criteria of Thailand Qualification Framework for Higher Education, in overall and each aspect which is statistical significant at level of 0.5 5.
