PEOPLE’S SATISFACTION WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT QUALITY OF LIFE PROJECT, DHAMMA RROMOTION CENTER, SARAPHI DISTRICT, CHIANG MAI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) explore the local residents’ satisfaction with the operation of The Quality of Life Development Project by Dharma Promotion and Dissemination Center, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province and 2) investigate the problems and difficult challenges faced as well to offer the guidance about its project operation.

The sample group of respondents in this research was 396 local residents who were more than 15 years old and lived in twelve sub-districts of Saraphi District in Chiang Mai Province. Purposive sampling technique was used to select the respondents. The researcher conducted structured In-depth interview with 6 key informants.

Questionnaire and Interview based on the aforementioned issues were employed as a research instrument to collect data. The collected data were subsequently analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard derivation. Structured Interview was also conducted for data analysis by categorizing opinions according to the principle of consistency. Analyzed results were presented in the descriptive analysis.

The results showed that according to the opinions of respondents towards Life Quality Development Project by Dharma Promotion and Dissemination Center in Saraphi District in Chiang Mai Province, they had their high satisfaction with the project operation in terms of its context, input, process, and product. It was thus concluded that the overall of its project operation had been rated at the high level.
