AN APPLICATION OF BUDDHIST DHAMMA TO STRENGTHEN PERSONNEL DISCIPLINE IN LAMPHUN HOSPITAL, MUANG DISTRICT, LAMPHUN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to study the opinions on the application of Buddhist dhamma to strengthen personnel discipline in Lamphun Hospital, Muang district, Lamphun province, to study personnel’s opinions on the personal factors to the application of Buddha dhamma to strengthen personnel discipline in Lamphun Hospital, and to propose the guidelines to strengthen personnel discipline in Lamphun Hospital. This research was a mixed method research.

The findings of the research were as follows:

The result of the application of Buddha dhamma to strengthen personnel discipline in Lamphun Hospital found that Buddha dhamma application according to Gharavasa-dhamma and Mangalasutta. The overall was at a high level. The factor affects to the discipline of personnel in Lamphun Hospital. The overall was at a high level. The comparison result of the application level of Buddha dhamma to strengthen personnel discipline in Lamphun Hospital, it found that age, education and position in operations were not different. Independent variable of gender and the period of performance was different. The study of the application guideline of Buddha dhamma to strengthen personnel discipline. The promoting of personnel discipline that concerns with Gharavasa-dhamma and Mangalasutta, especially the integrity, tolerance to various problems; encouraging the personnel to have perseverance, sacrifice, generosity and encouraging personnel to follow the regulations of the government agencies, for the aim of higher efficiency and more effectiveness.
