Roles of Family and Thai Society Generation Thailand 4.0

Abstract

The article of "roles of family and Thai society generation Thailand 4.0" needs to explain the roles of family institution on current Thai society that has been changed from past up to present. It was found that the role of family was to provide the members for society while the other role was socialization for living according to the social norms and culture. This was different from the past that it was the extended family that comprised at least 3 generations of grandparents, parents and sons and daughters. This made perfect family and fewer problems when compared with the present family due to the rapid changes of all economic, social and cultural conditions. Besides, most families were nuclear therefore the role on socialization was less important than the role on economic aspect. Consequently, this caused various family and social problems.
