MODEL AND PROCEDURE FOR PRESERVING THE KHAO LON BART CULTURAL FESTIVAL OF BAN NONG WAI, SAN PA TONG DISTRICT, CHIANG MAI.

Abstract

This article has objective to 1. study the pattern and process of preserving the
cultural tradition of Khao Lon Bart (overflowing alms bowl rice) of Ban Nong Wai, San Pa
Tong District, Chiang Mai Province, 2. promote strategy and process for preserving thecultural
traditions of Khao Lon Bart (overflowing alms bowl rice) of Ban Nong Wai San Pa Tong District
Chiang Mai Province and 3. to develop the participation of network partners in preserving
the cultural traditions of Khao Lon Bart (overflowing alms bowl rice) of Ban Nong Wai San Pa
Tong District Chiang Mai Province. This is the qualitative research using documentation and
interviewing as research tools to collect data and the research result was found that;
1) the pattern and process of preserving the cultural tradition of Khao Lon Bart
(overflowing alms bowl rice) of Ban Nong Wai, San Pa Tong District, Chiang Mai Province, the
pattern of organizing activities related to the traditions of urban life by inserting the thinking
process to continue to preserve the Lanna culture of Ban Nong Wai San Pa Tong District
Chiang Rai and there was process to preserve and inherit by allowing local scholars to pass
on to the youth group.
2) The promotion of thestrategy and process for preserving the cultural traditions
of Khao Lon Bart (overflowing alms bowl rice) of Ban Nong Wai San Pa Tong District Chiang
Mai Province, the organizing of activities related to the traditions of urban life was
promoted by inserting thinking process to continue to preserve the Lanna culture of
Ban Nong Wai San Pa Tong District Chiang Mai Province. And
3 ) developing the participation of network partners in preserving the cultural
traditions of Khao Lon Bart (overflowing alms bowl rice) of Ban Nong Wai San Pa Tong District
Chiang Mai Province, the participation process of network partners, through public and
private sectors, including temples, houses, schools, and communities, has been
promoted and supported the activities and cultural traditions of Khao Lon Bart
(overflowing alms bowl rice) of Ban Nong Wai San Pa Tong District Chiang Mai Province.
