The parks: development into creative spaces to promote cultural tourism

Abstract

An efficacious park must be aware of the different needs and interests of the
park visitors. Thus; the principles of sustainable development should be taken into
account, and applied while working on the process of planning and developing urban
parks to promote good quality of life, and mental healing of the people of all ages in
the city and the village. Well-designed and maintained parks according to the needs of
the users or consumers have adapted to the natural environment. It provides green
space that is usable in a balanced and cost-effective manner. It has a positive effect
on humans, nature; and the natural environment. It also affects the development of
physical and mental health of human beings, as well as brings profitable economic
benefits; especially to promote tourism by resulting from the increased number of
visitors. The opening of the park in the area also represents and communicates the
valuable cultures of the people in the community that will create or build interests
for the visitors to use it variously, because it is one of the most important motives to
visit it.
