The Factor Analysis of Thai Political Participation

Abstract
This research aimed to study the level of political participation of people and to analyze the factor of Thai political participation. The samples were 600 people who were more 18 years old in the central, south, northeast and north of Thailand. The research tools were the questionnaires and the interview forms. Besides, it also studied the documents, researches and journals. The stats were frequency, percentages, means, S.D., t-test and F-test.
The research found that people were less participation. The most political participation was the voting. The follower were political argument, political party symbol acceptation, political activity join, formal bureaucratic contract, being political party member, and political policy campaign support. The characters of Thai political participation were movement and demand. The role of politics was upon issues, conditions, context of stakeholders. The 3 behavioral types of people were 1) the political participation followed the law of rights and liberty 2) the semi-formal political participation and 3) the political participation liked the pressure private or group or policy decision makers. So, this characters were called that Participatory Pyramid Model.
