Public participation in democratic governance

Abstract

This academic article attempts to study and analyze people's participation in 
democracy. It is found that an important tool for developing a society and nation in a 
democracy is people's participation in politics at all levels. And it is democratic 
governance that is able to develop people to have the characteristics that society 
needs to play their roles in line with political changes in democracy as a whole. 
Nowadays, people at all levels are more interested in politics. which is a democratic 
regime with the King as Head of State which is complex There is rapid change. This 
makes Thai governance time for another change. Thai politics has undergone changes 
to democracy all the time. And there is a very rapid rate of change in people's 
sentiments. Thinkers in various circles in Thailand are paying great attention to the 
conditions of Thai society, that is, changes in global trends will be changes that have 
global characteristics, whether in the economic aspect. Society, politics, government, 
culture, etc., with modern technology as the driving force. Participation will focus on 
friendship. There is a change in people's styles from closed people to open people. It 
is a world that moves beyond a society that emphasizes competition to one that is 
collaborative and creative.
