Abstract

This thesis is aimed to study thehistory of floating lanterns tradition the kind understanding of tradition to be identity important in local especially the Buddhist floating lanterns tradition Ba Sub-District, Tha tum District, Surin Province in order to reserve continued and broadcast the Buddhist floating lanterns tradition this thesis is qualitative research collecting the data from the field the result found that:

The way to reserve continue and broadcast the Buddhist floating lanterns tradition Ba Sub-District, Tha tum District, Surin Province, has the road to reserve is (1) people in the local has recognized in participant of the tradition to have basis of using the raw material in the local for artificial of floating lanterns by recognize knowing in the method of making floating lanterns in the past as clear (2) people in the local know the identity and identities only part to apply using the raw material in the local to occur the floating lanterns until become the tradition in the local to deserve of reserve (3) The head of village give significant the part of reserve floating lanterns tradition have activity to related artificial floating lanterns in the past to build the knowledge and understanding in the part of reserving floating lanterns along the principle and faith to have in the way of continue is (1) in the local has been organized an event floating lanterns tradition up as continue every year (2) In the local is interested with making floating lanterns and principle faith history of the good tradition of the local and build the knowledge to child for feedback important of tradition in the part of continue floating lanterns tradition (3) in the local has cultivated principal in practicing, step, method set the floating tradition to new generation to know the important in reserving floating lanterns obviously.
