THE WORK PERFORMANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH IDDHIPADA OF VILLAGE- HEALTH VOLUNTEERS OF BUAKKANG SUB-DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, SANKAMPHAENG DISTRICT, CHIANGMAI PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of the thesis entitled “The Work Performance in accordance with Iddhipadadhamma of Village Health Volunteers of Buakkang Sub-district Municipality, Sankamphaeng District, Chiangmai Province” were to study the work performance according to Iddhipadadhamma of Village Health Volunteers, to compare their work performance classified by personal factors, to study the problems, obstacles, and suggestions concerning their work performance, and to study the guidelines for work performance according to Iddhipadadhamma.
The findings of this research were found as follows:
The opinion level of the work performance according to Iddhipadadhamma of Village Health Volunteers of Buakkang Sub-district Municipality, Sankamphaeng District, Chiangmai Province was overall at a high level (X̅ = 4.08). When considering each aspect, it was found that the opinion level of the work performance according to Iddhipadadhamma was at a high level in all aspects. Chanda was at the highest level (X̅ = 4.13), while Vimamsa was at the lowest level (X̅ = 4.03).
The comparison of opinions on the work performance according to Iddhipadadhamma of Village Health Volunteers of Buakkang Sub-district Municipality, classified by personal factors, including gender, age, education, occupation, and income, found that there were no significant differences in opinions based on gender, education, occupation, and income. However, there was a significant difference in opinions based on age. Therefore, the hypothesis was accepted.
The results of the study on the problems, obstacles, and suggestions concerning the work performance according to Iddhipadadhamma of Village Health Volunteers of Buakkang Sub-district Municipality showed that some villagers did not participate in the work performance, the work performance lacked efficiency, and there was insufficient attention to work details. Therefore, health volunteers should be trained to be better prepared for teamwork. The related authorities should regularly monitor and supervise the work of health volunteers. In addition, health volunteers should pay greater attention to their work and take more responsibility for their duties in order to improve work performance.
The results of the qualitative study showed that most key informants emphasized that community health volunteers should have determination, love for their work, diligence, carefulness in performing their duties, and mindfulness in their work. These qualities would contribute to improving the efficiency of their work performance.
