Promotion of political culture in a democratic way of the people

Abstract

This Article aimed to study the promotion of democratic political culture of
the people using the concept of political culture as a framework. The research uses a

documentary research method to study and research related documents. And in-
depth interviews from key informants such as academics on Buddhism, community

leaders, academics in political science. And academics on democracy, used to
analyze content and write descriptive lectures. The results showed that
Promotion of people's democratic political culture consists of 1 ) building
knowledge and understanding; It is to upgrade knowledge, abilities, skills and attitudes
to become knowledgeable, competent citizens, aware of their potential. including
being a citizen mutual respect and the use of mindfulness in life; 2 ) creating
participation by providing knowledge and information to make people change their
thinking, way of thinking, and action, and to create awareness of what is a public
matter or of the nation
The findings from this research will be useful in promoting the democratic
political culture of the people by creating a learning process. Build understanding,
thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and correct political values and adhere to the principles of
democracy
