ESTABLISHING A LOCAL NETWORK FOR OBSERVING THE 5 PRECEPTS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE PEOPLE OF CHIANG RAI

Abstract

The material has objectives to 1) study the promotion of the 5 precepts of the
Sangha in Chiang Rai Province, 2) study the networking of the villages keeping 5 Precepts of
the Sangha in Chiang Rai Province and 3) to analyze the networking of villages keeping 5
precepts and quality of people’s life developing in Chiang Rai Province. This is the
qualitative research and collecting data tools were document and interviewing. The
research result was found that;
1) the promotion of the 5 precepts of the Sangha in Chiang Rai Province were
on policy, strategy, reconciliation, morality and participation of partner networking.
2) The networking of the villages keeping 5 Precepts of the Sangha in Chiang Rai
Province was found to network with the followings: awareness raising, forming an
obligation-building network, administration of the village keeping 5 precepts network,
development and preserving of relationship among village keeping 5 precepts network and
continuity of village keeping 5 precepts network.
3) Analyzing of the networking of villages keeping 5 precepts and quality of
people’s life developing in Chiang Rai Province was on the networking on duty and power
relationship, spatial relationship and issue relationship.
