The Study of Faith of People to Buddhamahādhammarājā

Abstract

This article is studied from the research aiming study (1) for study of
Buddhamahādhammarājā ’s history, (2) for study of people to
Buddhamahādhammarājā and (3) for analytics of faith for people to
Buddhamahādhammarājā. It is the document research. Its area is Wat National
park of Buddhamahādhammarājā, Muang, Phetchaboon. Its analytics is descriptive.
Its result leads to faith in power of Buddhamahādhammarājā. The result of this
research is found that:- Buddhamahādhammarājā is the post of Meditation, art of
Loburi built by bronze, wide sitting at 13 inches, 18 inches high, without base. The
statue is wide face, protruding mouth, long ears, headdress or face shield, bangle,
nice belt. The statue is dressed by ancient dress named
‘Buddhamahādhammarājā’. The statue is built in 1600 B.E. the age of
Chayavaraman king 7 of Khom kingdom. The people faith to the
Buddhamahādhammarājā as this respected, worshiped, protected and some god
resides in the statue.in which, Petchaboon is holy land leading to wealthy and peace,
happiness from the past. At that time, the governer of petchaboon invited the statue
from Sukhothai on water vehicle. Between coming, if any where rests, there, wat is
built for sitting of the statue. In the present, Petchaboon is named so –rich from
diamond, Dhamma land, gold land loading by food, peaceful land, freeing from
enemies. The people of this city take faith in Triple Gem, donate, compassion to all.
There are many ancient temples from conception and power of
Buddhamahādhammarājā. Its body of knowledge is ‘Gold land of Petchaboon,
more holy, good economic, festival of Buddhamahādhammarājā diving to water in
