Factors Affecting to the Success of the Moral Teaching Monk in the School : A Case Study of the Office of Chiang Mai Educational Zone 2

Abstract

The research entitled “Factors Affecting to the Success of the Moral Teaching Monk in the School: A Case Study of the Office of Chiang Mai Educational Zone 2” consists of 2 objectives as 1) to study the role of moral teaching monks in schools under the Office of Chiang Mai Educational Zone 2 and 2) to study the factors affecting to the success of monks teaching morality in schools under the Office of Chiang Mai Educational Zone 2.

The results of the research revealed that regarding to monks teaching morality in schools under the Office of Chiang Mai Educational Zone 2, it was found that they have played their roles in the school for eight aspects e.g. familiarize themselves with students, provide the appropriated learning activities for students, develop the learning skill for students, develop the teaching technique, manage the classrooms, create the classroom atmosphere, create the learning evaluation and adjusting their personalities to suit the school and students.

The relationship between the factors that affects to the successful teaching of monks teaching morality in schools, it was found eight aspects in overall at high level (3.95). When specifically considered, it was found that the highest mean on the instructors’ personality (3.99) followed by the classroom management at high level (3.98). In case of the lowest, it was found in the teaching technique (3.92).
