Abstract

Strategies For Using The Language In The Song For The Life Of "Pongsit Khamphi", the
objective is to study strategies for using the language in the song for the life of "Phongsit khamphi"
by studying and analyzing the use of words, rhetorical use, and using images in songs. The data for
this research is the music of "Pongsit Khamphi", 4 sets, a total of 42 songs.
From the analysis of the using the language of word usage, it is found that in the song of
Phongsit Khamphi, found the usage of two types of words i.e. the usage of overlapping words and
the usage of repetitive words.
The most common is the usage of overlapping words and the usage of repeated words. In
addition, to usage the expressions invented 4type of expressions, namely descriptive, narrative and
comparative preach in these songs. 
The usage of figure of images invented 5 type of figure of images, namely paradox
metonymy symbol simile personification metaphor hyperbole and onomatopoeia appeared in
these songs.
The usage of words, expressions and figure of images, in the song of Phongsit Khamphi, is
an important element that makes the poem beautiful, making the listener clear with aesthetics and
imagery.
