WAYS OF TEACHING THE 12 VALUES FOR YOUTH

Abstract

From the current problems in Thailand, there is a conflict of opinions and low moral standards which, in turn, demand the government aiming to provide the nation its unity by conducting itself appropriately and morally. The government has set up the 12 values which the Department of Education to the National Youth can proceed 3 ways: 1) Teaching the 12 values directly through social studies, religion and culture learning area; 2) Teaching by integrating of each learning area; and 3) Creating extracurricular activities to promote the 12 values by managing learning experiences appropriately according to the context, learners’ nature, and the readiness of each institute.
