LEADERSHIP TO COMMUNITY DEVERLOPMENT ACCORDING TO THE SEVENFORD SUPPURISADHAMMA FOR COMMUNITY LEADERS IN THUNGTHOM SUBDISTRICT SANPATHONG DISTRICT CHIANGMAI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of the thesis were as follows: to examine leadership to community development according to the Suppurisadhamma of community leaders. To compare the leadership according to the Suppurisadhamma of community leaders, to investigate the problems, obstacles and suggestions, and to study the promoting guideline of leadership development of leaders in Thungthom district, Sanpathong sub-district, Chiangmai province. This research is mixed method research. The populations and samples were collected from people who live in Thungthom sub-district municipality, Sunpatong district, Chiangmai province. The samples were 378 people. This research found that the opinion level of people towards the leadership to community development according to the sevenfold Suppurisadhamma of community leaders in Thungthom district, Sanpathong sub-district, Chiangmai province was overall at the moderate level in every aspect. The comparison result of the opinion level of people by personal factors, the overall gender was not significant. The leaders do not have knowledge about the project, so that information was not returned to the community. The leaders do not know about the real problem and were irresponsible. The training program should be provided before being appointed, and the information from other institutions should be used for consideration to solve the problem according to Suppurisadhamma.
