Abstract
This research of "Integrating the principle of Mongala Suttra as the basis for self-development" has tree objectives; 1) to study the concepts and theories about self-development. 2) to study the principle of Mongala Suttra as the basis for self-development. This research is a mixed method research consisting with document and qualitative research.
The research found that:
Self-development is that people try to improve their self-improvement to be more appropriate than before. allowing them to conduct behavioral activities to meet the needs or goals set. This is to develop their own potential to improve both physical. mental. emotional and social in order to be an effective member of society and beneficial to others including; 1) Bähusacca is a study that has extensive knowledge. empathy. listening and searching for knowledge. 2) the arts is the ingenuity of being able to make it beautiful and admirable. Physical art is a good self-improvement with appropriate human relations. and 3) the discipline is the ability to force oneself to follow the rules and regulations that benefit both oneself and society in general.
The principle of Mongala Suttra is the basic of developing oneself as follows; 1) the integration of Bahusacca principle in training oneself to know education learning about the sufficient economy. 2) integrating the arts by training oneself with skills for careers and determine the important point used for working. and 3) integrating the Vinaya principle by adhering to occupational rules with a focus on honesty and saving.
