The role of government for The local knowledge development : Local Textile case study BanWangchao Community Bungsamakkhee District KamphaengPhet Province

Abstract

The objectives of the studies was to study about the level of takingrole of the government for the local knowledge development : Local Textile casestudy Ban Wang Chao Community Buengsamakkee District KamphaengPhet Province including the study about the factors that affect on the role of government in the local development in local textile and in order to study the guidelines for developing the local wisdom. This research is quantitative research calculated by using the formula table of Taro Yamane with 400 samples and the reliability level was at 95%. The tools used in this study were questionnaire and the data were analyzed by using
Descriptive Statistics and Inferential Statistics.
The results of the study were as follow
1. The level of role of the government for the local knowledge development was at the medium level. When considering in each aspects found that the highest average aspect was capital and respectively lower were manufacturing, marketing and management aspects.
2. The factors that affect on the role of government in the local development which segregated accordingly with personal factors found that gender, age, occupation, income, education level, length of residence and membership affected on the role of government in the local development but knowledge in local textile didn’t affect on.
3. The guidelines for local wisdom development in local textile of the government was the money-analyzing expert should be hired for the sake of coaching and educating the women's group suggested by the samples in order to plan the group management including with providing the manufacture workshop to produce the better quality local textile and to be more demanded products in the market and in order to support for all developments in each aspect.
