COMPLIANCE WITH POLICE’S ETHIC AT MUANG LAMPHUN POLICE STATION, LAMPHUN PROVINCE

Abstract

The research aims to study the compliance level with police’s ethic, to compare the compliance level with police’s ethic classified by personal factors, to find out the relationship between the application of Sangahavatthudhamma and the compliance with police’s ethic and to investigate the guideline application of Sangahavatthudhamma in promoting compliance with police’s ethic at MuangLamphun police station, Lamphun province. The research used mixed method research. The populations and samples were selected from police at MuangLamphun police station, Lamphun province. The samples were 120 people from collecting data by using the formula of Taro Yamane with reliability equal to 95%.

The findings of this research as follows:

The opinion level of police towards the compliance with police’s ethic at MuangLamphun police station, Lamphun province was overall at the high level in all aspects. The comparison result of police opinion towards the compliance with police’s ethic at MuangLamphun police station, Lamphun province classified by personal factors, The overall classification by age, education, income was not different but gender, performance time, education, position was significant differences at 0.05 levels. The relationship between the application of Sangahavatthudhamma. There was the positive relationship at very high level. The guidelines application of Sangahavatthudhamma in promoting compliance with police’s ethic found that they should focus on the neutrality, the validity of the law and people-centered.
