Social etiquette : Central coexistence in the region

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the mechanism of social etiquette in ASEAN. The study showed that ASEAN society is a society where education is highly diverse, oriented by beliefs, values, attitudes, traditions, and culture. It makes all the difference in lifestyle, philosophical thought, and forms of harmonious coexistence, generating some peaceful and some violent conflicts. Because the factors are capitalist culture and religious beliefs that are difficult to keep the balance of tranquility in today's society, the exit and salvation for ASEAN society may need to learn and create knowledge through social etiquette to be the center of the mechanisms and processes that make all the difference come together to contribute to the real goal of coexistence itself.
