Attitude of People to the Urgent Policy Implementation of H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the attitude of the people in
Nongpling Sub-district, Mueang Nakhonsawan, Nakhon Sawan Province to the urgent
policies Implementation of H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha , and 2) to study the
satisfaction of people in the urgent policies Implementation of H.E. General Prayut
Chan-o-cha. The research instrument was the questionnaire. The sample was 390
people aged 18 years old and older and lived in in Nongpling Sub-district, Mueang
Nakhonsawan, Nakhon Sawan Province. The statistics used percentage, arithmetic
mean, and standard deviation.

The research results were as follow: the 390 respondents were most the
female, aged 46 years old and older, finished at the primary education, were the
employees, and got 5,001 – 10,000 baht per month. The satisfaction of people in the
urgent policies Implementation of H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha divided into:
1) The policy on the solution in living of the people found that the
satisfaction in the policy on the public transportation system management was at the
highest level. Then, it was reducing the debt problem and the debt of the people in
the village funds.

2) The policy on the improvement of the welfare and life quality
development system found that the satisfaction in the policy on the subsistence
allowances of the people was at the highest level. Then, it was the improvement of
the welfare state system

3) The policy on helping the agriculturists and developing the innovation
found that the satisfaction in the policy on building the innovation and the agricultural
instruments to reduce the cost of production was at the highest level. Then, it was
managing the system of the agricultural insurance.

4) The policy on upgrading the labor potential found that the satisfaction
in the policy on upgrading the income and minimum wage was at the highest level.
Then, it was developing and upgrading the skills.

5) The policy on the solution of the corruption and misconduct in the
government sector: all politicians and government officers found that the satisfaction
in the policy on applying the new technology in monitoring the corruption and
misconduct was at the highest level. Then, it was the participation of the people in
the prevention and monitoring the corruption and misconduct.

6) The policy on the education support, listening to the opinion of people,
and the solution found that the satisfaction in the policy on giving the education for
the disadvantaged children was at the highest level. Then, it was supporting the free
education.

The comparison of the people’s attitude in Nongpling Sub-district, Mueang
Nakhonsawan, Nakhon Sawan Province to the urgent policies Implementation of
H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha in 6 aspects found that the satisfaction of people in
the policy on the education support, listening to the opinion of people, and the
solution was at the highest level. Then, it was the policy on the improvement of the
welfare and life quality development system, the policy on upgrading the labor
potential, the policy on the solution of the corruption and misconduct in the
government sector: all politicians and government officers, the policy on the solution
in living of the people, and the policy on helping the agriculturists and developing the
innovation.
