The Development of a participatory cultural heritage management model of civil state network in Sukhothai Historical Park

Abstract

The main objectives of the research plan are: 1) to study cultural heritage
management of the civil state network in the Sukhothai Historical Park; 2) to develop
participatory cultural activities to promote tourism in the Sukhothai Historical Park;
3) to strengthen the network cultural heritage with participative management of the
civil state network in the Sukhothai Historical Park; It is an integrated research method.
It consists of research papers, qualitative research and participatory action research.
The results showed that;
The civil state network consists of the Sangha, government agencies,
community leaders, citizens and entrepreneurs in the area around Sukhothai Historical
Park has brainstormed to find the strengths of the community that are connected with
history, tradition, culture, and local wisdom has presented guidelines in accordance
with the development plan of Sukhothai connected to the way of life in the
management to achieve sustainability in the form of joint thinking, joint planning, joint
action, sharing responsibility and share the benefits. There is a promotion to have the
potential to accommodate both domestic and international tourists with the
development of cultural activities; 1) networking for cooperation 2) planning where the
community has decision-making power and involvement in planning 3) the creation of
tools to develop cultural heritage in accordance with social characteristics natural
environment and community aptitude. The network is strengthened by focusing on the
way of life of the community, to promote cultural traditions career in service business
in cultural tourism especially the community network around Sukhothai Historical Park
and to develop the management of tourism routes in the Sukhothai World Heritage
City.
