Buddhist Art’Thai Mural The Pleasimg of Aesthetic Coexisting with Community.

Abstract

This article’s objectives are
1) To study the history of traditional and modern craftsmanship techniques,
patterns, and storytelling of Wat Pa Tan’s mural at Takhli district in Nakhon Sawan province.The
study of the area involving the temple and its community reveals the principle and history
between man and art.
2) To support and enhance the value of the mural art at Wat Pa Tan in Takhli district,
Nakhon Sawan province. The value of art decreased due to ignorance and unawareness of
society. Therefore, promotion is the optimal opportunity to publicize the temple’s location
through media to inform and gain interest from the public.
3) To transfer knowledge and creativity of Wat Pa Tan’s mural art and cultural tourism
together with the local community. Found that the mural art allows the local community
to appreciate the beauty of mural art’s craftsmanship and facilitate the area to become a
learning resource for society in the future. Additionally, it also blossomed the opportunity
to expand the local economy with the beauty of artistry in the aspect of mural art.
