The Causality among Tourist Arrivals, Foreign Direct Investment and the Expansion of Thailand Economy

Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze causality among gross domestic product, foreign direct investment (FDI) and a number of international tourist arrivals in Thailand. This study employs time series data from 2006 to 2016 to analyze the data. It is analyzed causality by using Toda and Yamamoto (1995) method. The study is found that a number of international tourists is cause the gross domestic product of Thailand. Therefore, government should develop and improve production factor and focus on tourism sector in the future.
