The Promoting of Democratic Political Culture in Elections of People in Wiang Thong Sub-district, Sung Men District, Phrae Province

Abstract
The objectives of this thesis were 1 ) to study the conceptual level of
democratic political culture promotion in the election of the people, WiangThong Sub-
district, Sung Men District, Phrae Province, 2 ) to study the relationship between the
Sārānīyadhamma VI principle VI and the promotion of democratic political culture in
elections of the people, Wiang Thong Sub-district, Sung Men District, Phrae Province,
and 3 ) to study the problem, obstacles, and recommendations for cultivating a good
subconscious mind for people and future generations to have knowledge and
understanding in democratic promoting political culture of people's elections, Wiang
Thong Sub-district, Sung Men District, Phrae Province. A methodology was mixed
methods. the level of application of the Sārānīyadhamma VI principles and the
promotion of democratic political culture in the elections of the people Wiang Thong
Sub-district, Sung Men District, Phrae Province in overall were at a high level (X̅= 4.26,
SD = 0.688). The relationship between the states of Sārānīyadhamma VI principles and
the promotion of democratic political culture in the elections of the people Wiang
Thong Sub-district, Sung Men District, Phrae Province was positive that was a relatively
low level (R=.228**) with a statistically significant level of 0.01. Problems and obstacles
in promoting democratic political culture in elections of the people Wiang Thong Sub-
district, Sung Men District, Phrae Province found that political expression, which was
the part that can be done as well as they got the political information that still was
stopped, having received a regular promotion of constructive political activities from
relevant agencies was not continuous. The recommendations found that the
promotion of constructive political activities should be seriously supported by relevant
agencies in order to obtain information and present information in a targeted manner,
in addition, the acceptance of other people's political expressions should be accepted
in society.
