The Roles of Local Leaders Influencing People’s Participation in the Development of Sufficiency Economy of Sai Yoi Sub-district, Den Chai District, Phrae Province

Abstract

This Article aimed to study 1) to investigate the level of local leaders' roles that
influence people's participation in the development of sufficiency economy of Den
Chai District, Phrae Province; 2) to study the correlation between Saṅgahavatthu and
the roles of local leaders that influence people’s participation in the development of
sufficiency economy of Den Chai District, Phrae Province; and 3) to study problems and
suggestions for the roles of local leaders that can influence people’s participation in
the development of Sai Yoi Subdistrict's sufficiency economy of Den Chai District, Phrae
Province. This research is the study mixed-methods research namely. The quantitative
approach used survey research from the distribution of questionnaires with 346 people,
use social software packages to analyze the data to find the average. Meter deviation
and find the Pearson correlation coefficient And while the qualitative data were
acquired by in-depth interviews with key informants from the interview form, 11
photos/person and using content analysis techniques for context. The research results
were found as follows;
1. The roles of local leaders that influence people’s participation in the
development of sufficiency economy of Sai Yoi Subdistrict, Den Chai District, Phrae
Province are overall at a high level (x̅ = 4.04)
2. Saṅgahavatthu and the roles of local leaders that influence people’s
participation in the development of sufficiency economy of Den Chai District, Phrae
Province is found to be positively correlated at a high level (r = 0.854**).
3. The obstacle problem was found that the pregnant leader, who still lacks
understanding of development planning and also lacks public participation in
expressing opinions on sufficient economic development, and publicity is not yet
accessible to all groups of people. Suggestion. It was found that pregnant leaders who
should understand and engage the public in expressing their opinions on sufficient
economic development within the community, and public relations were conducted
within the technology medium to make it accessible to the public.
