The Conflict Management accordinge to the Adhikaranasamatha of Song Sub-District Administrative Organization in Song District Phrae Province

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to study the level of conflict management according to the Addhikaranasamatha of Song Sub-District Administrative Organization, Phrae Province, 2) to compare the conflict management according to the Addhikaranasamatha of Song Sub-District Administrative Organization, Phrae Province, which divided by individual factors, 3) to study the problems, obstruction and suggestion about conflict management according to the Addhikaranasamatha of Song Sub-District Administrative Organization, Phrae Province, and 4) to study the ways and methods to apply Addhikaranasamatha to conflict management of Song Sub-District Administrative Organization, Phrae Province. This research was mixed methods research. It was quantitative and qualitative research. The population and sample group of this research were 333 personnel who worked in Song Sub-District Administrative Organization, Phrae Province. It was evaluated by the formula of Taro Yamane. It analyzed data by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, F-test and one-way ANOVA, and collected data by in-depth interview with 8 informants.

The result of this research found that:

   The opinion of conflict management level according to Addhikaranasamatha of Sub-District Administrative Organization in Song District, Phrae Province was at a high level (X = 4.00, S.D. = 0.576).

   The result of comparison of personnel’s opinion of conflict management level according to Addhikaranasamatha of Sub-District Administrative Organization in Song District, Phrae Province, classified by sex, age, education background, salary, work experience and status, found that the variables of personnel’s opinion of conflict management level according to Addhikaranasamatha of Sub-District Administrative Organization in Song District, Phrae Province were not different, that rejected the hypothesis.

   The problems, obstruction and suggestion of conflict management level according to Addhikaranasamatha of Sub-District Administrative Organization in Song District, Phrae Province found that some personnel did not participate in meetings and organization, people in some areas did not understand the system of organization’s work, and the conflict problem-solving system was unclear. The suggestion should organize the system of organization management clearly, advertise the rules of the organization for people to understand, and set the system for conflict solving clearly.

   The process of conflict management level according to Addhikaranasamatha of Sub-District Administrative Organization in Song District, Phrae Province found that it should use mindfulness, reasonableness, and justice for kindness and conflict solving. It should make Sub-District Administrative Organization effective and efficient for people’s satisfaction.
