Behavioral usage of a library of staff and students and guidelines for developing the library in Kampheang Phet Rajabhat University Maesot

Abstract

This research studied behavioral library usage of staff and students and investigated guidelines for developing Kampheang Phet Rajabhat University Maesot's library. Samples were students and staff of Kampheang Phet Rajabhat University Maesot. A research instrument was questionnaires. The statistic used for analyzing data was percentage and mean.

The findings obtained from the students revealed that the library's service needed development at high level (x =3.95). When considering each aspect, it was found that the students needed the development on the library service at high level. The highest mean was buildings, facilities and equipment (x = 4.09). According to the findings from the staff, the library's service needed the development at high level (x =4.06). When considering each aspect, it was found that the staff needed the development on the library's service at high level. The highest mean was buildings, facilities and equipment (x = 4.29).
