THE ROLES OF BUDDHIST MONKS TOWARDS THE MORALITY ENHANCEMENT IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS AT MAE AI DISTRICT, CHIANG MAI PROVINCE

Abstract

This thesis aims 1) to study the role of Buddhist Monks in promoting.
Morality Enhancement in secondary schools in the Mae Ai district. Chiang Mai
province. 2)to compare the roles of the clergy in promoting. Ethics to secondary
schools in the Mae Ai district,. Chiang Mai province.3) to study the problems and
suggestions in. Promoting ethics in secondary schools in the Mae Ai district. Chiang
Mai province. 4) to study the patterning forms formore efficient increase in
preferment of Buddhism
The research result was found that
1) The students had differentiation among sex, age, leaning levels levels,
Dhamma knowledge, and participation in school activities to be transferred though
the roles of Buddhist monks to moral promotion in secondary school is not same in
clouding viewpoint as low level.(X =2.50) Observing on the aspect that the opinions
of moral in ethical side is in the middles level as (X =2.74) and supporting side of
activities is in less level by average level as(X = 2.46).
2) Suggestions
The sample population has as follow:
2.1 It should be changed from role study to achieving result study in moral
ethical promotion of student for successional preparation of support on the
moral and ethic side of student.
and
2.2 Should change sampling group from student to teacher and parents
who they are more closers. Observational behavior of student has improved,
therefore it is profitable for development in roles of Buddhist Order for promotion in
moral and ethical behaviors of student.
2.3 Study in strategy which clergies have used in the promotion moral and
ethical behaviors to student for knowing various strategies in can be used for
efficiently role development in moral and ethic promotion for student.

2.4 Study about efficiency of Buddhist Order in promoting roles of moral and
ethical activities in school after this one has been applies for using
