Prachadham: The process of promoting political participation of the Thai people.

Abstract

This article presents perspectives on promoting political participation of the 
Thai people under the word Prachadham. which means having Dharma as the main 
power to uphold. It is evident that political participation is important to daily life. directly 
or indirectly. Be part of driving society according to democratic principles. Since political 
participation creates opportunities for people to play a role in decision-making and jointly 
allocate community and national resources. This process must answer the question of 
accessing. understanding and participating in political activities. Both formal and informal 
political participation. to demonstrate the legitimate rights of the people according to 
democratic principles which has brought the principle of participation to be analyzed 
together with the principle of Sangkhahavattadhamma that will help to create 
cooperation at all levels From the analysis. it was found that the key steps in promoting 
political participation among the Thai people consisted of: To understand is that they 
must have basic knowledge according to their rights and can communicate clearly to 
others. Access is the opportunity to participate in political activities through a variety of 
channels. Joining is sacrificing both time and self-interest for the benefit of the public. 
And to check is to be part of the balance of power through the inspection of government 
operations. These 4 issues are important steps to create political participation at all 
levels. from the election of representatives to the end. leading to the removal of the 
representative itself
