PROMOTION OF PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FIVE PRECEPTS OF NA SAI SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION IN LI DISTRICT. LAMPHUN PROVINCE

Abstract

This research study aims to 1) To study the level of participation in improving 
the quality of life of the elderly of Sri Bua Ban Subdistrict Municipality. 2) To compare 
the participation in developing the quality of life for the elderly of Sri Bua Ban 
Subdistrict Municipality. Classified by personal factors 3) To present a guideline for 
promoting people's participation in the development of the quality of life for the elderly according to the principle of Aparihani Dharma of Sri Bua Ban Subdistrict 
Municipality. 
This study Conducted according to the integrated research methodology. It 
consists of quantitative research by distributing questionnaires. The research 
population is People in the municipality of Sri Bua Ban Subdistrict Muang Lamphun 
District. Lamphun Province. A sample of 379 people was collected by using a 
questionnaire. and qualitative research Data were collected by interviewing 10 key 
informants or people. Quantitative research used data analysis methods to find 
frequency. percentage. mean. standard deviation. and analyzed by t-test and F-test by 
one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Least Significant Difference (LSD) method and 
qualitative research by in-depth interviews with 10 key informants or people using 
content analysis technique clustered data. The content analysis technique was used. 
along with the presentation by descriptive references to people's words. 
The results showed that 
1. The level of opinions about participation in the development of the 
quality of life of the elderly of the municipality Sri Bua Ban Subdistrict Mueang 
Lamphun District. Lamphun Province. Overall. there was a high level (x
̅ = 3.86. S.D. = 
0588). decision-making Operation Assessment receiving benefits supernatural doctrine 
were at a high level. respectively 
2 . The results of the comparison of the level of opinions about the 
participation in the development of the quality of life of the elderly of Sri Buaban 
Subdistrict Municipality. The overall picture classified by occupation differed 
significantly at the 0.05 level. Therefore. the research hypothesis was accepted. Other 
aspects are not different. Therefore. the research hypothesis was rejected. 
3. Guidelines for promoting people's participation in the development of the 
quality of life for the elderly according to the principle of Aparihani Dhamma of Sri Bua 
Ban Sub-district Municipality. it was found that the decision-making aspect was ommunity building in the community. The operational aspect is public relations in 
various channels to gain widespread awareness. and more active activities in the area 
Evaluation is an opportunity for the public to take part in auditing performance. The 
aspect of receiving benefits is activities for the elderly in the community continuously. 
Applying the principles of Apariha Nithamma to be applied found that meeting together 
on a regular basis Collaboration with the community creating a mutual agreement 
Supporting the role of scholars in the community Opportunities for housewives and 
youth in the community Using the temple area to link activities of the elderly in the 
community Promoting the role of monks in the community
