Characteristics of good citizenship of Kruba Chao Sriwichai

Abstract

Kruba Chao Srivichai was one of the noble men who believed that his highest 
goal was at Nirvana according to Buddhism. As a result, he had good conduct, 
respectful, dependable for Northern Thai Buddhists from the past to the present. Therefore, the good citizenship of Kruba Chao Srivichai had appeared in a distinctive 
image, such as the qualification of holy man or a saint appropriately for being a man
maker, building temple and society of happiness in northern society by conducting 
oneself for veneration, faith as a monk in Buddhism and adherence to the disciplines 
strictly. These qualities of good citizenship of Kruba Chao Srivichai were all 
appearances in the area on the Northern Thai society base that can be examined the 
truth openly, straightforwardly and clearly. However, the good citizenship of Kruba 
Chao Srivichai was also a lot of evidences in the research model. 
Scholarly articles, books, paintings, sculptures, architecture and traces of his work 
during his lifetime, causing Northern Thai Buddhists to praise him as Kruba Chao 
Srivichai or Kruba was greater than all Kruba
