Leadership of Buddhist Sangha’s Officials in Maung District, Lampang Province

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to study the leadership of the Buddhist Sangha’s officials and to study the application of leadership in Buddhist Sangha’s officials in Maung District, Lampang Province. This research was the mixed methods research consist of The Quantitative research that was the survey research from the sample of this research contain of 180 Buddhist Sangha’s officials. By the purposive sampling and the qualitative research from in-depth interview from 8 informants. The results of research were as follows: the rate of opinion poll about the leadership among the Buddhist Sangha’s Officials in Maung District, Lampang Province. In overview was consider as high rate (X̅=3.69) and the result from the comparing were age of ordination, the degree of secular education and religious education have different. The result of interrelationship about application of leadership in Sangha officials in overall of the correlation coefficient could be considered as positive. The result of Qualitative research found that the most of significant informant emphasized the coordination with subordinate politely, pay attention to the all sufferings and happiness of official equally and treat every official as cousins. In the co-operation should have the order and discussion with the goodwill, friendly, simple, sympathetic, unpretentious and create the good circumstance at work to maintain the stability of organization and decrease the contradiction among officials or decrease the conflict in co-operation. Moreover, Promotion the subordinate to success, pay respect to the workmate and open the opportunity to express the opinion in coordination can prompt the task to succeed.
